Around the World in 180 Days is a geography and history program covering each continent’s history, geography, and culture. And yet this is not a textbook. It is a series of questions that the student must research in order to answer. Plenty of resources are suggested to help students conduct their research, and the teacher’s edition provides all the answers.

Around the World in 180 Days is a multilevel history/geography course designed for homeschooled students of all ages to study together. You’ll learn facts: ask “how” and “why” questions: discover how information relates to you, God, and the world; label maps; learn how to research by using an atlas, a world almanac, and an encyclopedia; expand your study with suggested books and online resources. Pages in the student book are perforated so that the student can complete the worksheets and compile a notebook that will document his or her work

You will explore the following topics for all 7 continents:

  • Geography (land forms, rivers, countries and cities, climate)
  • History (brief overview of the history of each continent)
  • Religion (dominant religion/s of each continent; impact of Christianity)
  • Culture (government, economics, society education, art)
  • Key People (missionaries, historical and political figures, artists, scientists)
  • Current Events/Issues (political, social religious)

Recommended for all ages.

Living God's Word Through Education

The What We Believe Bible series does more than teach your children about the Bible. More importantly, it teaches them how to live God’s Word by confidently walking out their Christian beliefs in a hostile culture. With this beautifully illustrated Bible curriculum, your children will learn to apply Scripture and use it as a lens through which to view the world—and choose to walk in the truth.

Literature with a Biblical Worldview

Apologia's Language Arts curriculum involves stimulating exercises that help build grammar and writing skills for younger students and introduce your older students to the world of literature, all from a biblical worldview. Teachers and parents love the conversational style that allows them the ability to give their students the freedom to work independently through the course. Students love the colorful illustrations and the conversational style that make learning fun and engaging.
