    Book 1 is the first of a two part course. Books 1 and 2 create a full year social studies course. Easy to read and understand. Course takes you from the first Americans through Spanish, French, English explorations of America, American Revolution, George Washington, creation of the Constitution, War of 1812, Industrial Revolution, and ends with the Civil War.
